Nest Hong Kong in Singapore: There are always heated debates between who is better: Hong Kong or Singapore? We think that both cities are at their best when they work together. This week a number of members from the Hong Kong Nest team -Lawrence Morgan (CEO), Karen Arndt (COO) and Jess Cheung (Global Brand Strategy)- flew over to meet with the cohort as well as collaborate with the Singapore Team.

Lawrence gave a speaker session on business strategy, during which he shared a motivational  Ted talk from Simon Sinek about how great leaders inspire action. Simon’s core belief: to start with the question “why?”

He also challenged the founders with his favorite brain teaser to emphasize the importance of lateral thinking. If you are up for testing out you ability to think outside the box, try it out yourself here.
